We are seeking a polished, welcoming, and highly organized Receptionist to join our internal team based in Cape Town. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our Cape Town office—welcoming candidates, managing incoming telephone inquiries, and providing administrative support for our upcoming educational workshops and physical information days.
Key Responsibilities:
Front-of-House Coordination: Welcoming visitors, candidates, and event attendees to our Cape Town space with a professional, hospitality-driven demeanor.
Switchboard & Inquiry Management: Answering incoming phone calls, providing accurate foundational information about our upcoming events, and routing complex queries to the correct team members.
Event Attendee Check-ins: Assist with guest arrivals and registration data entry during local info sessions and Cape Town event days.
General Office Administration: Maintain the presentation of the reception area, manage incoming/outgoing courier documents, and provide basic data entry support using Excel or Google Sheets.
Diary & Schedule Support: Assist the internal team by tracking meeting room bookings and updating the daily calendar for scheduled workshop inquiries.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Reception or Hospitality Experience: Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Agent, or Front-of-House Coordinator (experience within high-end hospitality or premium customer service is a distinct advantage).
Polished Presentation & Demeanor: Exceptional grooming, interpersonal skills, and a warm, professional presence fitting for a brand aligned with global luxury hospitality.
Professional Communication: Flawless verbal and written English communication skills, with a confident and clear telephone manner.
Basic Tech Literacy: Competence using Microsoft 365 (specifically Outlook and basic Word/Excel) and answering multi-line phone systems.
Location: Must be permanently based in Cape Town for daily on-site office operations.
