We are seeking a structured, highly organized Admin Assistant to join our internal team based in Cape Town. In this role, you will handle the operational backbone of our platform—managing workshop registrations, coordinating event schedules, and ensuring the logistical administration behind our Cape Town information days runs flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Data Management: Input, update, and maintain accurate internal spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for event registrations, workshop attendee lists, and candidate profiles.
Workshop Scheduling & Support: Coordinate the digital logistics for upcoming informational workshops and training sessions, ensuring timetables are updated and attendees receive confirmation links.
Inbound Inquiry Routing: Monitor the central inbox to organize platform inquiries, distribute important event updates, and route complex questions to the correct team members.
Event Logistics Administration: Assist with the administrative prep work for physical Cape Town networking and information days, including tracking venue requirements, coordinating event timetables, and managing digital checklists.
General Digital Filing: Maintain and audit our cloud-based storage folders to ensure all internal informational resources and templates are logically archived.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Administrative Experience: Proven track record in a data entry, administrative support, or event logistics coordination role.
Technical Proficiency: Competence navigating Microsoft 365 (specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word) and cloud-based systems (Google Workspace).
Acute Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing data sheets and a habit of double-checking work for errors.
Professional Communication: Clear, polite, and professional written English skills for coordinating with internal teams and event attendees.
Location: Must be based in the Cape Town region to assist with local event logistics support when required.
