In this role, you will act as a key cocktail artist—combining flavor precision, modern mixology techniques, and engaging guest hospitality in bustling hotel lounges.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft Beverage Design & Mixology: Prepare and present signature cocktails, premium classic drinks, and artisanal mocktails to exact recipe standards and luxury presentation guidelines.
Guest Engagement & Menu Curation: Guide guests through beverage menus, make tailored flavor recommendations, and deliver interactive counter service with high-level showmanship.
Bar Operations & Mise en Place: Maintain precise preparation of syrups, infusions, garnishes, and inventory levels to keep the bar station fully operational during peak hours.
Quality Control & Hygiene Standards: Ensure strict compliance with UAE municipal regulations, alcohol licensing standards, and 5-star hotel hygiene practices.
Upselling & Stock Efficiency: Actively promote premium spirits and high-margin signature creations while managing wastage and stock rotation.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Passport & Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid South African Passport.
Mixology Experience: Proven experience as a Mixologist or Specialist Bartender within 5-star hotels, luxury cocktail lounges, or high-volume fine dining venues.
Technical Product Knowledge: Strong foundation in international spirits, cocktail chemistry, syrup production, flavor pairing, and garnishing techniques.
Communication & Demeanor: Flawless spoken English communication skills with a confident, welcoming, and engaging personality suitable for luxury hotels.
Relocation Readiness: Willingness and eligibility to relocate full-time to Dubai, UAE.
